THEORETICAL RESEARCH

Beyond the build.
Into the underlying questions.

Alongside software engineering, Arctic Frontier Systems pursues long-term research in theoretical and computational physics.

We turn ambitious questions into explicit models, test their consequences and keep the restrictions that the calculations reveal.

01 / STELLAR FABRIC

The conditions
for a sustained
traversable state.

What states of matter and fields could support a traversable wormhole—and remain consistent when the system is disturbed or loaded?

Stellar Fabric studies the connection between a proposed spacetime geometry, the source that would support it, and the cost of keeping that source under control. The work combines analytical derivations with explicitly bounded numerical models. The results below follow that chain from source matching and constrained motion to state preparation and quantum stress.

The work has produced conditional mathematical results, numerical cross-checks and restrictions on candidate mechanisms. A stable physical wormhole and a realizable supporting material have not been established.

The source has to match the geometry

More precise calculations, two exterior regions, and a pressure mismatch that narrows the search.

We calculated the energy density and both pressures of a quantum field on a geometry with two exterior regions, then compared them with the stresses that geometry requires. The transverse pressure has the opposite sign. Changing the source strength or the nearby shape did not produce a consistent solution in the cases examined. Earlier calculations also became more precise, allowing a clearer comparison between a periodic thermal model and this new boundary problem.

Thermal states.
A closer static match.

A positive proper-energy gate and a negative local null stress coexist in one tested thermal family.

Seven follow-up findings connect preparation limits, a renormalized scalar source and a nonconstant thermal branch. The update includes the equations, test results and cutoff sensitivity.
